How to Redeem a Promo Code

Redeeming a promo code at King Johnnie is simple: open your account, go to the deposit or promotions panel, enter the code and activate it. Codes immediately unlock bonus funds, free spins or other rewards once conditions are met, and we’ll confirm activation on-screen and by email.

Quick way

Log in and open the Deposit or Promotions panel.
Enter the promo code in the “Promo code” field and click Activate.
Activation is usually instant; follow any on-screen steps if prompted.
If you have trouble, contact our 24/7 live chat and we’ll assist.

If deposit is required

Choose a deposit method and enter the minimum amount shown (amounts in AUD).
Apply the code before confirming the deposit and ensure the “Apply bonus” box is checked.
Some offers require KYC or a cleared deposit before bonuses are released; we process verifications promptly.

Where it appears

Activated rewards appear in your KingJohnnie account Dashboard under “Bonuses” or in your Wallet.
Free spins credit on the specified game automatically; bonus funds show with wagering terms.
An email and an in-account message confirm the reward, and we log the credit in your transaction history.

Where to Enter Promo Codes

Promo codes are usually entered in the Bonuses or Promotions area of your account on King Johnnie. There you can paste the code into the designated field and click "Apply" to link the offer to your account; many bonus activations require a qualifying deposit and must meet our bonus terms.

Some campaigns may instead apply automatically when you make a deposit, in which case the relevant offer will appear in the deposit panel and our system will attach it to your account based on the campaign settings. Always check the promotion details and wagering requirements in AUD before completing a deposit.

Promo Rules

Wagering at King Johnnie refers to the playthrough conditions attached to certain promotions. It means you must stake a multiple of the bonus amount or free-spin winnings before funds become withdrawable. Our rules protect fair play and can differ between offers, so always check the promotion's terms before you play.

What wagering means

The wagering multiplier shows how many times a bonus or free-spin win must be wagered before withdrawal. This is shown as an "x" number (for example 45×) and applies to the bonus amount or the winnings from free spins.

Game restrictions

Certain games may be excluded or count at reduced rates toward wagering. Live dealer and crash-style games often contribute 0%, while many slots count 100%. Exact contributions are listed in each promotion's terms so you know what counts.

Betting limits while wagering is active

Betting caps are applied during active wagering to prevent abuse; bets above the cap can void bonus progress. Typical examples include:

Wagering multiplier example: 45×
Max bet while wagering example: AUD 5
Common exclusions: Live Dealer, Crash

Time limits and expiries

Promotions usually have an expiry timer and must be used within a set number of days (for example 30 days). The timer appears in the promotion details; if you need help interpreting a deadline, contact support and we will clarify any terms

VIP Promos: More Value, Less Manual Work

VIP promotions at King Johnnie reward our most loyal players with tiered benefits that grow as play increases. Tiers deliver cashback, exclusive free spins, faster withdrawals and personalised bonuses designed to recognise regular activity. Points accumulation and comp rewards make regular play more valuable for Australian accounts.

As you climb the loyalty ladder, benefits may appear automatically based on your wagering and engagement, while our VIP team can offer tailored incentives and account services. Opting in is simple and many perks are applied without request, so loyal players see rewards reflect their ongoing activity.

Why a Promo Code Might Not Work

Occasionally a promo code entered on King Johnnie may not work; our short guide below helps you quickly identify common causes and what to try next. Following these checks can often resolve the issue without waiting for support, saving time and letting you get back to play sooner.

Common reasons a promo code fails

Code expired or rotated - the promotion has ended or been replaced.
Geographical or account ineligibility - some codes exclude certain countries or account types.
Minimum deposit or payment-method restrictions not met.
Already claimed by this account - single-use codes are tied to one account.
Game or wager-type exclusions (live dealer, crash games, etc.).
Pending KYC/verification prevents bonus credit until ID is approved.
Typing error or extra spaces when entering the code.

Active bonus conflict

An existing active bonus can block new codes. Our platform usually allows only one active deposit/bonus per account, so check My Bonuses or Bonus History to see if a current offer must be completed, cancelled, or expired before a new code will apply.

Quick self-check before contacting support

Re-enter the code carefully (no spaces, correct case).
Review the promo terms for country, min deposit, and excluded games.
Confirm sufficient deposit and an accepted payment method for the offer.
Complete ID verification and confirm email/phone if pending.
Clear browser cache or try another device/browser, then retry.
If still an issue, contact live chat with a screenshot of the error.
